"When I was looking to get back into martial arts, I fully ruptured my left Achilles tendon at another school where the warm-ups were in no way suited for someone just starting out. After a year and a half, I'm still continuing to strengthen and rehabilitate my leg, but United Martial Arts has been an integral part of my recovery. For the past 11 months, from the moment I limped in the door, Grandmaster McGee and his instructors were immediately accommodating and mindful of what exercises to modify or prioritize until my leg was better healed. The volume of knowledge Grandmaster possesses seems boundless and he can teach every detail for every movement to the students that are truly committed to learning and refining their practice. The other students are very supportive and friendly which helps as the instructors help us push our limits, but safely! In my youth, I've collectively spent almost 10 years learning other styles at other schools. I was fortunate to find the United Martial Arts academy that not only offers different styles of martial arts, but also can adjust my training course according to my health issues. I am impressed with the knowledge of the Grandmaster McGee and all of the instructors. Unlimited classes during the week allows you to reach your goal faster. Also, Grandmaster McGee offers physical therapy if you have any health issues or injuries. I am very happy to be part of this school and expand my knowledge in martial arts.
